What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Forms

When you submit a form on this website, we collect and store the information you provide, on our Dreamhost Shared Server. For example, your name, email address, phone number, and message. This information is used to reply to inquiries, complete requests, and perform free consultations.

Schedule Your Free Consultation Form – Your information is deleted with one month from the date of your scheduled free consultation.

Contact Form – Your information is deleted within one month after all inquiries related to your form submission have been answered.

Privacy Request Form – Your information will be deleted within one month from the time your request has been processed.

Email correspondence resulting from a form submission – Your email address, name, and any other information you provide in your initial form submission and subsequent email correspondence will be stored on the servers of whatever email provider are used for such correspondence (including Gmail.com, Mail.com and Dreamhost). These emails will be deleted the month after they are received. This information may also be stored in cache on the computers used for the email correspondence. Cache will be cleared at least once a month.

Onsite Purchases

When you purchase anything on this website we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and any other information you provide at the time of purchase. This information is used to fulfill orders and deal with disputes, returns, or refunds and is kept for 1 month after the order has been fulfilled. We do not store your billing information. It is sent to Square and processed by them. Their Privacy Notice can be read here.

Website Analytics

We use Matomo Analytics, but all personally identifiable information is anonymized. The last three digits of IP addresses are masked and referring websites are masked except for the type of website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
